These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Job Pipeline ("the Service"), operated by Alex Sears CPA LLC, located in Katy, Texas. By accessing or using the Service at jobs.alexsears.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Job Pipeline is a web-based application and Chrome browser extension that helps job seekers organize their job search. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze job descriptions, compare them against your professional profile, generate tailored resumes and cover letters, and track application progress.
To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API token. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one account.
The Service offers the following plans:
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your Pro access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Your Data: You retain all rights to your personal data, resume content, profile information, and any text you submit to the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.
AI-Generated Content: Resumes, cover letters, and analysis results generated by the Service are provided for your personal use. You may use, modify, and distribute these outputs freely.
Our Service: The Service itself, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is the property of Alex Sears CPA LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
AI-generated analysis, match scores, resume suggestions, and cover letters are advisory only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. The Service uses third-party AI models (including Anthropic Claude) to process your data, and the quality of output depends on the information you provide and the capabilities of these models.
You should always review and customize any AI-generated content before submitting it to employers. Alex Sears CPA LLC makes no guarantees regarding employment outcomes.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALEX SEARS CPA LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data after termination, subject to any legal retention requirements.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Harris County, Texas.
